I do what I do because I feel it's important to ensure that my daughter is raised with a Christian background. When we started attending AUMC we found a community that not only connected us to God, but was dedicated to our family. The church provides opportunities to feed us spiritually and also to help our community. I tend to feel a lack of accomplishment unless I'm helping out other people, and the church gave me a place where I can do that while learning and growing myself. Community is important as a Christian and as a parent so that we can go through life together whether we are in need, or have plenty to give.
